Unknown....

Could this be true? Could I really be here with him? The boy of my dreams has asked me to be his girlfriend. As I sit and listen to his stories of growing up in Vermont, I keep asking myself these questions over and over, and then I think back to the beginning. Halloween 2009. I walked into the university halloween dance as a lion, and everyone noticed me, but I could hardly see anyone else but him. He was standing there dressed as Doctor Who. I saw him and he looked at me and asked me to dance and from there on out it was love. Now we’re engaged and wishing for that day in April to come so we can live our happily-ever-after love story.

When loves pops up out of nowhere...

When I was 14 years old, I went on kind of a group date with my friends. One of the girls brought her boyfriend, and I was blown away: he was sooooooo cute and so funny. I kept in contact with him throughout high school and everything. Then, when I was 16, his girlfriend and he broke up, and that’s when I started hanging out with him just about every single day. I felt so comfortable with him, it was like a sanctuary.
He and I started getting closer and kissing, and soon my feelings grew stronger for him. All of a sudden though, things in my life started getting all crazy and hectic. I stopped talking to him due to family issues, as other things in my life caused me to become very insecure. One day after this crazy blur, when I began to feel like myself again, I decided to message him on myspace. He called me about two minutes after I sent that message and I knew he had never forgotten about me.
We started hanging out again. One night we were with a few friends when one of them says, so when are you guys going to start dating? I got to thinking about how great he is and how safe and tranquil I felt around him. That night (Feb. 4th 2009) when he took me home, I kissed him, and then he asked me to be his girlfriend. We've been dating ever since.
The funny thing is that I had gotten a fortune cookie at one of my favorite Chinese places a few days before I started talking to him again and it said: "The love of your life will appear in front of you unexpectedly." Funny, huh? =]

My first and last

I first had a boyfriend when I was in grade 9. He was a cute tall and handsome guy who worked for my uncle. Sadly my uncle found out and had him fired and so did my parents. But despite of all problems I still remained by his side until my parents found out again. So I ran away with him. Now we live happily together and that too with the blessing of my parents as they have now accepted our relationship.

Unexpected Love

My friends took me clubbing since there were some dancing competitions in the club. Because I’m a good dancer, I had to join them to make a team of four. Before we started dancing, I saw a cute girl in purple staring at me, but the room was crowded so I didn’t pay much attention and stepped onto the stage with my friends.
After we had reached the finals, we got a 40 minute break. My friends went over to introduce themselves to the girls they had been checking out – the friends of the girl in purple – and I followed because I didn’t know anyone else in the club. I didn’t join the conversation until, all of a sudden, the girl I had seen staring at me came over and sat near me. She asked me some questions, and we became friends from just a short talk. I knew that I didn’t want to engage myself in a relationship because of what had happened to me with my ex.
During the finals, my friends were scared to compete against the champions. I hated it because they all put their trust in me. We lost, but I was named the best dancer so we got 25% of the prize money. As I was standing on the balcony, feeling sad that we had lost, Lisa (the girl) came over to me and told me not to worry: we were the best team to her. She acted strangely as if I were her boyfriend. After a long talk with her, I had to go but she insisted on getting my cell phone number. She also immediately added me on Facebook. A week later, she texted to ask if I wanted to go clubbing with her. My friends came too, and they told me that maybe she was different from my ex, and that I should go for it.
I had such a wonderful time that I kissed her at the end. My heart was telling me to go for her, but I was scared, expecting her to do the same as my ex. With time, I’ve finally realized that she is totally different.
She was a volunteer at that time, and had to travel to Kenya. While she was gone, she never answered my calls, never texted me back, and for a while I thought my love for her had faded.
I thought she had vanished, or strayed onto another path, but it turned out she was just testing me, expecting me to have found another girl. I was angry at her when she told me, but the next day she apologized and, because it was my 18th birthday, bought me a watch that I still have to this day. From then on, she became my red rose. Love Torsten and Lisa.
